J-1 Visa Grant Details
Number Of J-1 Visa Grants: 15 grants per semester
Program Length: Covering programs from 1 to 12 months.
Coverage: Each grant covers expenses associated with J-1 Visa Sponsorship, valued up to €1220. Participants are only responsible for their medical insurance and SEVIS (I-901) Fee. Our grant can be combined with other grants for additional support.
Program Dates: No restrictions on start and end dates for the program.
Eligible Industries: Hospitality & Tourism, Business Administration (Finance, Marketing, Human Resources), International Trade and Logistics, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural), Law & Public Administration, Architecture, Information Technology, Sciences & Mathematics, Education, Creative Industries (Arts, Media, Design), Social Sciences, Counseling, Social Services.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be a current student or recent graduate (within 12 months of graduation) from a German university, holding an Associate’s degree or higher (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD’s, or others).
Have a confirmed offer letter or placement opportunity from a company in the United States that is relevant to your field of study.
Be eligible to participate in the J-1 Intern Program in accordance with current U.S. regulations.
Demonstrate professional motivation and a genuine interest in cultural exchange.
Application Form
Submit your application for the J-1 Visa Grant Program by following the next steps:
Submit your application by March 15 for the winter semester and by August 15 for the summer semester to be considered for grants offered during that semester.
Write A Letter Of Intent – Compose a concise letter of up to 500 words (one page) outlining your professional and personal goals and explaining how your J-1 Intern Program will help you achieve them.
