Odyssey International Exchange is proud to serve as an official J-1 Sponsor Organization for the newly launched U.S.-Swiss Professional Development Exchange Program.

U.S.-Swiss Professional Development Exchange Program is a joint initiative between The Swiss Federal Council and the Government of the United States of America.

This innovative program expands exchange opportunities to a dynamic new group of Swiss youth and professionals, specifically those who are currently enrolled in or have graduated from vocational institutions. The program offers valuable internship and training opportunities across a wide range of industries at host companies and organizations throughout the United States. Participants will not only gain hands-on experience but also develop a deeper understanding of American culture, methodologies, and society, fostering mutual enrichment and cross-cultural learning.

By facilitating the exchange of knowledge, skills, and expertise, this new program aims to strengthen workforces and create valuable opportunities for professional growth for young professionals through an international training experience rooted in shared democratic values.

Swiss citizens between 18 and 35 years of age who meet specific residency and educational criteria are eligible to apply. The participants may conduct a four to 18 month-long internship or training program in the United States at a private company or non-profit host organization.
