My American Summer Bucket List Challenge

Summer is one of the most exciting times to be in the United States, and we are challenging you to make the most of it!

We are excited to launch our My American Summer Bucket List Challenge, a summer-long Bingo-style competition designed to help you experience American culture, explore new places, and create lasting memories during your J-1 Intern or Trainee Program. We have created a Summer Bucket List filled with classic American summer activities. Your goal is to complete as many activities as possible and submit photo proof through our online form below. You may come back and submit the form multiple times or edit your initial submission.

How To Participate?

You will earn points for each activity you complete and submit, and additional points if you engage with Odyssey online. The more you participate, the more opportunities you will have to earn points and improve your chances of winning!

1. Complete an activity from the Bucket List.

2. Take a photo as proof.

3. Submit your activity and photo through the online form.

4. Watch your score grow throughout the summer.

At the end of the challenge, Odyssey staff will review submissions and select the winners based on overall participation, creativity, and cultural engagement. Bonus engagement points earned throughout the contest will be added to participants' final scores.

Prizes

We will be awarding gift cards to three participants who fully embrace the challenge and make the most of their American summer experience. Whether you are watching your first baseball game, exploring a national park, trying a new food, or enjoying a summer sunset, we encourage you to get out there, explore, and experience as much of American culture as possible.
